Meet Our Providers
Dr. Joshua Brown graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2003 with a combined board certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He has practiced in Santa Fe since graduation working as a hospital-based pediatrician, a hospital-based internal medicine provider and an office-based internal provider. He has been medical director of the Physicans Medical Center, the Emergency Department, and has served two terms as Chair of Internal Medicine at Christus St. Vincent. Additionally, he has been the Chief of pediatrics at CSV. He is currently the medical director of the pre-operative clinic and has been involved in the creation and expansion of the community-based IMS infrastructure.
He and his family have deep ties to the community and love living in Santa Fe. Dr. Brown loves the day-to-day practice of Internal medicine and the relationships he has developed with his patients.
Dr. William Jones was born and raised in Texas and graduated from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School in 1961. He spent two years in the Air Force (1962-1964) and stayed in Vietnam during his final year. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX (1964-1968). He started his solo orthopedic surgery practice in Santa Fe in 1968 and was President of the medical staff when Christus St. Vincent Hospital moved to its present location. Additionally, he was one of three general partners that built the Imaging Center here in Santa Fe. In 1980, Dr. Jones joined the US Army as a Lietenant Colonel and established the first knee arthroscopy program for the US armed forces in Europe. He has been chief of orthopedic surgery on and off for thirty years. He discontinued surgery 20 years ago to do non-surgical orthopedic care.
Dr. Jones has recently joined the IMS team and loves continuing caring for patients. He has two sons and two daughters with his wife of 53 years.
Dr. Seredowych graduated form Colombia university in 1974 with a BA in Anthropolgy. He attended medical school in Guadalajara and did his residency at Elmherst Hospital in Queens, New York, Mt Sinai Services. He worked for the Health Insurance Plan of New York and has also worked for the Queens/Long Island Medical Group for 8 years. He spent five years in New England at Rural Hospitals and came to Santa Fe in 2000. He raised two children in Santa Fe, who both now attend college. His son is receiving his MFA from New York University and his daughter is graduating from Sara Lawrence. His wife is an artist.
Dr. Seredowych has practiced for 28 years in Internal Medicine and is board certified. He proudly accepts Medicare. He enjoys riding bicycles and speaks four languages, including fluency in Spanish.
Danny Mays graduated from the University of Oklahoma Physician Assiociate Program. He retired from the Army and received a Masters Degree and PHD in 1998 and Completed a Geriatric Certification. He moved to New Mexico from Alabama with his wife, who is an Emergency Room physician assistant at Christus St. Vincent. Together, they have a 15 year old son who enjoys Snow Boarding.
William Bacon was raised in Santa Fe and attended Santa Fe High School. He is a longtime resident of Santa Fe and has been a practicing Physician Assistant for the last 12 years. He received his PA training at Midwestern University in Phoenix, AZ. He has worked in Santa Fe with New Mexico Heart Institute as a Hospitalist at Christus St. Vincent Hospital and in the Emergency Department. He is now an integral part of the care team at Internal Medicine Specialists. The breadth of his experience provides deep clinical understanding of many medical disorders. He has been actively involved with privledges at CSV and has served as the first physician assistant of the medical executive committee. He is married and has two daughters. He has deep roots in the community and enjoys being active and can often be found on the trails riding his mountain bike.
Sheila was born in Texas and received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of Texas in Austin. Most recently, she earned a degree in Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner at Duke University Graduate School of Nursing. Sheila has been working at IMS since November 2014, and continues here as a Nurse Practitioner. She lives in Santa Fe with her husband and their five children.
James is one of the newest, but also one of the most experienced members of the IMS team. He received his Ph.D. in psychology from Texas A&M, and has spent his career in various places, including several hospitals around New Mexico as well as in his own private practices both in Texas and Carlsbad, NM. He also spent some time working in the Army at Fort Sill. After that, he moved to Santa Fe with his wife, who is a retired psychologist. James joined IMS ten months ago. Outside IMS, James is a part-time actor, and has made multiple appearances on the hit show, “Better Call Saul”.
